Data center cleaning

Cleaning backed by IT experience

We know data centers from practical IT work. Before cleaning, we speak with your IT, facility management and equipment teams. Together we establish what needs cleaning and how the work fits your operations. We work across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Server areas and technical support rooms

We clean server and network areas, rack rows, accessible equipment surfaces, floors, raised floors, cable trays and ceiling voids. CRAH areas, cooling peripherals, UPS, battery and other plant rooms can also be included in the scope.

Beneath the floor and above the racks

Dust beneath floor panels and on cable trays often goes unnoticed. We include these areas in the assessment. Raised floors are opened in stages following approval, with attention to airflow, cable routes, access and protection of openings.

Working while IT stays online

Many room and exterior cleaning tasks can be carried out while IT remains online. We establish which tasks are suitable before starting, including approvals, work sequence, ESD precautions and cleaning equipment. Work on or inside devices follows manufacturer and operator requirements; any shutdowns are planned with IT.

After construction or before commissioning

New rack areas, opened ceilings and refurbishment often introduce extra dust. We clean the affected areas and plan additional measures where needed. If construction is still ahead, enclosures, airlocks or temporary positive-pressure zones can be included in the preparation.

Inspection and ongoing care

At handover, we check the areas and record completed work, observations and outstanding items. Photos and particle measurements can be added where commissioned and permitted. The next steps depend on usage, condition and further dust ingress.

GOOD TO KNOW

Data center cleaning: your questions

Discuss your requirements
What information is needed for a quotation?

Useful details include location, approximate area, rack count, affected zones, contamination and the reason for cleaning. Preferred time windows, access rules and the agreed documentation scope also matter. Outstanding points are clarified during the site assessment.

Does the data center need to shut down for cleaning?

Not necessarily. Tasks suitable for live operations are assessed against the actual equipment and risks. Required approvals, support from your IT team and any shutdowns are agreed in advance.

Do you also clean raised floors and technical support rooms?

Yes, these areas can be included. By agreement, this can also cover cable trays, accessible cooling peripherals, UPS and battery rooms and other plant areas.

How long does the work take?

Duration depends on area, installation layout, contamination, access and available work windows. Larger sites can be divided into agreed phases. The sequence and schedule are established following the assessment.

Is ongoing care available?

Yes. Inspection and cleaning intervals are tailored to usage, condition and environmental factors. Construction or other exceptional events may call for additional inspections or cleaning.
